To apply for a Residency Visa for Mozambique, the following documents are required:
- “Request for Entry into Mozambique” form duly filled in;
- Two (2) passport photographs – updated (if it is the first time);
- Passport with a validity period of not less than six (6) months;
- Medical certificate;
- Criminal record (for adults)
- Document proving family relationships (birth or marriage certificate);
- Proof of guarantee of food and accommodation conditions in Mozambique;
- Letter of call from the family member residing in Mozambique
- Copy of the Mozambican DIRE or BI
- Air ticket booking
To apply for a Business Visa to Mozambique, the following documents are required:
- The original of the passport valid for 6 months after the departure date. The passport must have at least two pages available (one page to paste the visa, another to stamp at passport control on entry and exit)
- A photograph, passport type, in color (If you don’t have it, you can get it from our office)
- Photocopy of round-trip air ticket
- Booking confirmation at the hotel or other type of accommodation
- Invitation letter from the employer or proof of business
- Photocopy of the yellow fever vaccine bulletin (mandatory for anyone who has traveled to Africa, South America, among other countries where the vaccine is required)
- Multiple entries: presentation of the company certificate stating that it is an administrator or partner
To apply for a Study Visa for Mozambique, you must present the following documents:
- “Request for Entry into Mozambique” form duly filled in;
- Two (2) passport photographs – updated (if it is the first time);
- Passport with a validity period of not less than six (6) months;
- Medical certificate;
- Letter of acceptance from the educational institution in Mozambique;
- Document proving that the applicant is a beneficiary of a scholarship in Mozambique or another that ensures attendance;
- Proof of guarantee of accommodation conditions in Mozambique;
- One-way flight booking;
To apply for a Work Visa for Mozambique, you need to present the following documents:
Applicant:
- Passport
- 2 Photographs
- Criminal record
- Medical certificate
- certificate of qualifications
- Travel ticket
Company:
- Call letter + Identification document of the signer
- Work permit + Work contract (original)
- Declaration of non-debt to the SS and the State/Finance
To apply for a Transit Visa for Mozambique, the following documents are needed:

- Presentation of the visa and photocopy of the ticket from the destination country
- Photocopy of the yellow fever vaccine bulletin (mandatory for anyone who has traveled to Africa, South America, among other countries where the vaccine is required)
To apply for a Tourist Visa for Mozambique, you must present the following documents:
- “Request for Entry into Mozambique” form duly filled in;
- Two passport photographs;
- Passport with a validity period of not less than six (6) months;
- Hotel reservation;
- Round-trip flight booking;
- Document proving the possession of income (bank statement with a minimum availability of 3,000.00 euros) to stay in the country;
- Yellow fever vaccine, according to your stay in the last 180 days.
To apply for a Visitor Visa for Mozambique, you need to present the following documents:
- “Request for Entry into Mozambique” form duly filled in;
- Two passport photographs;
- Passport with a validity period of not less than six (6) months;
- Round-trip flight booking;
- Term of responsibility issued by the person to be visited in Mozambique, signed by a notary (if foreign, also attach a copy of DIRE and BI if Mozambican);
- Yellow fever vaccine, according to your stay in the last 30 days.
